Welcome

Mount Esk Nursery School is a standalone nursery situated in Bonnyrigg.  Our children are aged between 3 and 5 years. We offer a full-time model during school term time. We share the building with Mount Esk Family Learning Centre and value the opportunities we have to work together. Many of our children move naturally from the family learning centre into our nursery.

Our location provides us with many opportunities to make links with our community and support our children to feel a sense of belonging not only within the nursery but also within the wider world.

We have small woodland area immediately behind our nursery which we access daily. This offers unique outdoor experiences which our children thrive on. It supports learning across all areas of the curriculum and is a wonderful stimulus for holistic learning.

The team is dedicated, motivated to learn, and constantly looks at evaluating practice to improve service. Wellbeing is at the heart of all that we do and through this we ensure a solid foundation is created to sustain all future learning.
